Description
Votive stylized bronze etruscan figurine of skinny type, showing a warrior with a helmet, a tunic crossed on the bust and wearing a belt. It must have had a weapon on the right hand (a spearhead or a sword) and probably a shield on the other hand (both missing today). There are two extensions below the leg for attachment purpose.
This figurine comes from ancient excavations made during the XIXth century in Châlon-en-Champagne area, where multiple celtic Hallstatt burial had been found, including numerous imported etruscan art.
Beautiful green patina with brown spots (earth encrustation).
