Description
Stone neolithic spearhead (probably in jasper) found in Anatolia and dating back from the 4th or 5th millenium B.C.
The tip is elongated and thinly knapped on the edges. The peduncle in a U shape has a brownish patina which could probably have come from the contact with organic glued used to maintain the shank end (tar, mistletoe…).
