Description
P-shaped bronze fibula from Gothic influence dating back from the 5th century A.D. and excavated in Bulgaria.
These kind of brooches follow the general shape of crossbow fibulae, but use a little spring instead of a crossbar with two onions. A little onion is still present a the end of the hinge as well as at the end of the catch plate.
Pin and spring restored. Beautiful dark green patina.
